Tony Clifford

As a native of the great Pacific Northwest, I sometimes take for granted the natural beauty and majesty from the forest and the wildlife that they spawn and nurture in this delicate ecosystem. Taking day hikes in the woods and enjoying weeks camped in wilderness parks brings a balance to my busy and urban life style. These parks and woodlands are also sanctuaries that need to be preserved for future generations to enjoy and cherish.

Through the work of Pan Pac Forest Products (USA) we can provide all of the needed and renewable lumber fiber to serve the needs of consumers, industry and families and at the same time, protect the natural woodlands that wildlife rely upon as their habitat and life source. The managed forests of New Zealand are earmarked to be plantations that provide long term sources for lumber fiber. These sustainable and professionally managed plantations are carefully planted, cultivated and harvested in a natural cycle to ensure long term supply without harm to the wildlife habitats or indigenous local populations.

My role at Pan Pac Forest Products (USA) is to service the needs of our industrial, commercial, and end consumer customers. We want and encourage our customers to consider the source of the lumber they buy and to ask if the fiber came from a sustainable plantation or was it taken away from the wildlife that rely on these trees for life in their ecosystem.
